it seems AP state Govt. and NTR Health University have approved Apollo and RVS institutes but MCI is yet to approve these institutes. If I remember correctly, last year RVS failed to get MCI approval, so I don't think it is safe to assume that RVS can get approval for sure with its limited infrastructure/facilities.
So its premature to say that Chittoor got two Medical Institutes.
Correctly said. As a person related to medical field ( BME) I have been following up the medical colleges in chittoor. RVS got affiliation and govt permission last year itself. But due to lack of infrastructure and necessary faculty MCI has rejected it. But one thing what happens when it rejects is giving the details of all lacunae to start medical courses. Hopefully if RVS mgmt takes care of everything as advised by MCI, definitely 2016 will see 2 medical colleges starting in Chittoor.
Apollo is a different matter as it has money, HR and and also govt backing.
