*The proposed Chennai- Bangalore Elevated Expressway passes near Chittoor.
* This Expressway will be 6 lane, elevated and access control with speed design for 120 kmph and reduces travel time between two metros to 2 hours.
* This express way alignment is designed to form a lifeline for the planned Chennai-Bangalore Industrial Corridor (CBIC)
* Already TN govt has proposed service roads on either side of this highway to connect several industrial estates.
But, But....
AP govt under beloved CBN never proposes a single industrial area near chittoor to benifit from this expressway or CBIC.

వితండవాధం ఏంటంటే కారిడార్ లో భాగమైన జిల్లా కేంద్రం చిత్తూరు లో పరిశ్రమలు వస్తే రాష్ట్రంలో ఏం పెద్ద ఉపయోగం ఉండదట. కానీ చెన్నై కి అతి దగ్గర్లో (తమిళ నాడు కి ఆరు కి.మీ.ల దూరంలోనే) ఉన్న శ్రీ సిటీలో, లేదా అసలు కారిడారే తగలని ఏర్పేడులో వస్తే రాష్ట్రం పరుగులు తీసేస్తుంది....అర్థమైందా అమాయకపు చిత్తూరోల్లారా?
నిద్ర పోయే వాడిని నిద్ర లేప్పోచు కానీ; నిద్ర పోయినట్లు నటించే వాడిని నిద్ర లేపలేం.
Blue line looks more approximate to connect Chennai and Bangalore right? as it is shortest distance?
ReplyDeleteBlue line is the proppsed expressway between the cities of Bangalore and Chennai. It will have 6 lanes and will run 240 km from Hoskote to Sriperumbudur, allowing vehicles to reach 120 km/hr. It will form the lifeline for the CBIC project

yes, the nearest point is 2 kms back of New R.T.O office/ (Collectorate building), heard this news from an official working in collectorate, it is approved and survey is in progress.

ReplyDeleteOne clarification : this road is not the nh4 which passes from nangili to ranipet via chittoor.
ReplyDeleteThis is a different road for which entry and exit points will be near hoskote, near kgf and near naraharipet only. In between no vehicle can enter or exit this highway as both sides fencing will be constructed. Also toll will be higher than a regular 4 lane road.
Nh4 4 laning between Karnataka border-chittoor-Ranipet is in land acquisition phase. Initial notification to land owners is already published 5 months back.

ReplyDeleteCBN has grand plans to build 4-way lane roads to connect Rayalaseema with all the parts of the State. Announcement was made to this effect in the assembly.
Roads planned:
Kurnool – Nandyal – Giddalur – Guntur
Nandyal – Porrumamilla – Krishnapatnam
Renigunta – Rajampet – Kadapa
Kurnool – Srisailam – Vinukonda
