Yes Chittoor is going to become not one but 3 cities.
The first one is Chittoor becoming a city by being upgraded to Municipal Corporation, This has been already approved by the government and only the legal aspects are pending.
The second is the Digital World City coming up on Bangalore Highway by amarraja group. This city coming up in 500 acres with a total of 1700 crores over a tome period of 10 years. This project is one of the largest integrated electronic city in India with IT/ITES backoffices and Electronic ancillary units. Eventually this project desires to create 20000 jobs
The third city of chittoor is the Mega Health City planned by Apollo Hospitals group.This health city is coming up in Murukambattu with an investment of 200 crores and has plans to start 200 bed hospital, Nursing and possibly medical college and Manufacturing units for surgical/hospital equipment.
Many more cities have to come along at ctr,,,,
ReplyDeleteCTR getting popular day by day seeming badtime is the thing of past.Normally any reputed/infamous personalities if they would visit dt,would come down to TPT(addressing gathering) n then to TML etc..
Seems things changed,Person of a great character,a good soul,this time ,probably the first time ,in these recent times,stepped on CTR Soil,JP,showcasing his best efficiency to prosperate ctr,be raising support Vijaya dairy,cane formers,n stressing the need for much better way for procuring mango...hope there should be more stimulus given to ctr poultry
Also he highlighted that theres nothing much happening for the sons who work out on the farms much,in the cms own dt.
Also Lokmanch chief,found his way to reach ctr(with sole intention)directly from CNI,to visit the replica of TML Venkateswara at ctr,with the cooperation DK whos succesful enough in bringing down the image of the LORD to ctr.
Also weather at ctr is been changing.The last winter was more cold than it had been prior.Similarly rain from 4pm or so .. on yest started to wash out the city to keep it clean.plenty rainfall received yest till midnite.Many such falls needed to reduce the intensity of water problem.
ReplyDeleteThink we should look for direct buses from CTR to various points of NH46,, to get the benefit the buses run by TNSTC.(also the cost per km is 30p contrast to 60p in APSRTC)
A) Ambur(via Gudiyatham,Melpatti):to reach ,salem,thirupathur,dharmapuri etc,at any given time.
B)Walaja:to reach CNI,Kanchi....as VLR region has got much more buses to reach this places..
also
C)Arakkonam: to catch up the MEMU services(at a 20 min interval to CNI)...
RTC should look out to provide this atleast,in this 2011,without giving any lame execuses/inappropriate reasons,which dont satisfy ctrians needs.

1 Sir, after the openeing of this halt, notification was given for employoing of Agents on 30.08.10. For this only one applicat had come. But,later he didnt turn up to funtion the same. Later, twice the notifciation was floated viz 27.12.10 and 22.03.11, there was no response to this advertisement also. Hence, in view of this, the same is proposed and recomended for closure.
Hi praveen, Sad that we are loosing RVS nagar halt as it will increase transport facilities in peripheral areas of ctr. Reg railways we are very backward. i will get to all with good post

ReplyDeletei feel mini bus terminals at all imp places 20-25kms from ctr , should be built.Remember Poonamalle,Sriperumbudur,Hosakote,all have direct connectivity to various imp urban n suburb towns around,avoiding getting inside those respective metros..
yest SDE(sakshi dt edn) has the report reg the KMC- Gangineni tank - VLR road.i am looking what kinda route/format would it be like.doubt is that one which already kickstarted at railbridge@KMC tank.
Todays SME has news carrying, reportedly an IIIT proposed to come in ctr-dt.finding fault at that..CTR city is yet to become an edu hub.Some where on NH18 bw CTR -PLR @ Patoor,would be appropriate,,
Also we have some more back ward areas like Somala/pakala,Nagalapuram/satyavedu,in the dt.

ReplyDeleteSad that not one among those 28 newly formed municipalities belong to our dt.
The former cm,kdp,not only added colors but also gave a 4lane Ring road to the HQ town of his constituency,though its population was around 50k then.
PLR,cms own constituency deserves it rightly for getting upgraded having 40k population,as PLMNr was having when it was upgraded to.
Also Bheerangi Kotha Kota,Kuppam,Pakala,Venkata giri Kota,having population around 25-30k,atleast to Nagar Panchayats.
Vayalpadu close to 18-20k...
Taking possible measures to provide minimum amenities(including mini bus stand) at all places having population 10k,would be appropriate.
Hi ,,there nice that all the towns of RYLS are going to have arches on all those prinicpal roads,which is one of my wishes for ctr....
ReplyDeleteIf have to tell the ground situation,there still certain villages close to ctr,which doesnt have a proper connnectivity .
To give an example,got to see the most fearsome,panicking roads to travel on,a forest ghat road,,enroute to DKcheruvu..
One has to reach Pardarami(TN) to go to that village.A single lane Tar road is there upto D.P.Palem(Dakshina Patha Palem) 4kms from CTR-GYT road. From there, the AP other territory starts fully sandy(not a muddy road)close to 8kms to reach that "Diguva Kanathala cheruvu",if proper connectivity is provided,,they can atleast goto Bangaru Palem via Eguva Kanathala Cheruvu,Ragimanu penta atleast
Also the one road which goes from Thumminda Palem - (Vadukkanthangal - Paradarami) road..Donno when they can have a single lane road hardly 7kms or so ,on the hillock...
Request Ctrians to visit/contribute "AMMA ODI", one of things ctr can be proud abt..to do something needful,
