The merc benz service from vellore is stopped. it starts from chittoor i have conformed it because this merc bus is parked at ioc bunk next to collectorate every day after its service.even the above mentioned sleeper is also parked at same place .I' ve been noticing it from last month. so obviously it starts from chittoor.

Taking Chennai-Bangalore corridor, a blue print for expressway alignment running from Hoskote, outskirts of Bangalore City to Sriperambudur, industrially developed region situated outside Chennai has been finalized recently. The expressway will connect be 260-km drive and vehicles can zoom around 150-km speed covering Hoskote and Sriperambudur in just little over two hours.
Five important business hubs have been identified in the corridor. Hoskote and Bangarpet in Karnataka; Palamaner and Chittor in AP and Sriperambudur in TN. Steel, cement, food processing, IT/BT, automobile zone, readymade garment zones, petroleum, chemicals and petrochemicals complex are some of the sector specific zones that are expected to in the business hub.

So that Telugu ppl settled in Chennai from Long back and else can make Huge investments in Chittoor with Proper Drainage,Stormwater Drains and other Latest Infrastructure. The Consul-General and the delegation attended a meeting at the Sri City business centre, where they were briefed about the integrated township.
They were also taken on a tour of the township which is spread over 100 sq km. They visited several industrial units that had set up base in Sri City.
The visit was essentially for the Consul-General to gain a better understanding of the development underway in Sri City.
Following the visit to the township, Chitra told Bernama that the industrial developments in Sri City were very impressive and business friendly, particularly for foreign companies looking for an investment opportunity in India.
Approximately 84 multinational companies are already based in the area.
She said Sri City would be recommended to potential Malaysian companies interested in investing in India.

A city should have atleast 5 lakh population,a junction/Major Railway Station,with good Business/Commercial and Industrial catering capacity & Local Public Transport System *Urban and Sub Urban*.
How we are going to grow from here onwards?
AP's Picture looks like a Metro Politan city for every 200 + Kms (some already are n some are in making)
Population is not a matter. You have to think about people convinient and development. Chittoor city is situated at equal distance from 2 big metros like Chennai and Bangalore. This is the only city getting this status. It is just around 150 kms from chennai and 170kms from Bangalore. It is the junction for any city like Tirupati and vellore and Tiruttani etc.It is one of the fast growing city in India.

As reported in Dinakaran Daily yest,A pvt firm made some(5) useful suggestions for fast growth of VLR City.,which include
1) Chennai - Bengloor Road for Industrial Development.,
2) Concentrating on tourism
for Revenue n employment production
3) looking out for more local avenues for revenue for self reliance /quick project execution

Chittoor city has a mandal parishad school with poor patronage in ramnagar,but not in prashant nagar or lower middle class areas,
If you had looked at TN ,Chennai Dt with 100% of urban population followed by Kanya Kumari with 82%,followed by this belt of Covai,Tiruppur,Erode,Selam with 48 % of urban population

Chittoor Dt is no more an exception,until they bring in water through out the Dt,urbanisation is crucial of economic growth n Employment source,(as confirmed by world bank recently)..
After chittoor moved out from being a selection grade municipality,
Madanapalle which is still a Grade -I town can be supergraded with "selection"status as its Revenue/population (1.8 Lakh) all worth for it,
No worries there are towns which are upgraded to level 3 from level 1 directly,there are instances,

ReplyDeleteConstitution of Chittoor Municipal Corporation is approved by both state and central governemnts and has been published in Government Gazette. Please dont spread rumours further.
For further process the State and Central Panchayatraj departments has approved merger of total 14 gram panchayats in Chittoor Municipal Corporation. Check details below
In the G.Os. 83, 84, 115 and 117 read above, Government have
denotified the fourteen (14) Gram Panchayats in Chittoor District so as to including the same into Chittoor Municipal Corporation and included the same Gram Panchayats into Chittoor Municipal
Corporation.
2. The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment,
Hyderabad, in his letter third read above has informed that as per the report of the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Praja Parishad, Chittoor, has requested to reconstitute Mandal Praja Parishads.
3. Government after careful consideration have decided to reconstitute Territorial Constituencies.
4. Therefore, the appended Notification will be published in an
Extraordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated 23/03/2013
The reconstitution of MPP constituencies of Khammam and Chittoor are approved and Ongole in process.
