INFRASTRUCTURE of CHITTOOR

Hi friends,
First of all any person passing through a place will look at the basic infrastructure ie roads, before even knowing abt the place. Our Ctr is no different. Any one entering a place gets the feel of that place by just looking at the roads.

Ctr being important transit point for three states, gives nothing of such feel to passers by. Any one entering or passing through Ctr feels only one thing...,, this place is most under developed and how come it is a head quarter.

Tell me friends, is there a single road which gives a great good look to Ctr. Don't tell me abt rajivgandhi road. Even 1 &2 grade towns now a days have much better roads. Ours is a selection grade municipality since 2000-01. We have to laugh at our own faces.

Todays burning problem in AP is telangana issue. They want separate state just because of a single reason ie underdevelopment. Believe me I have travelled extensively in telangana. Even small towns like kamareddy, mancherial, kodad have much better roads, atleast the main road passing through the town with good dividers and butterfly lighting. But we boast only of those roads which are same since 1970.

Go and check kadapa or even pulivendula. We will bury our heads in sand. Where are we lacking.  Why so. Why only us.  Where is the chittoor pride

Any road with good stone lined divider with greenery on it, changes the entire face of the town. Ongole, khammam and proddutur have 3 or more such roads each. But we????!want to become city when we are maintaing standards of village.  Which puppet municipal regime will change this.
Come, get elected by force or price, get purses filled and get lost. That is the policy of politicians of Ctr.  So Ctr will never change untill this changes.

I wonder why a single peoples rep in Ctr gets any idea for bettering Ctr. Be it municipal commissioner, collector, jc or dro etc etc. These people come transferred from dif places. Why are they tight lipped and hand tied reg Ctr. Don't they feel the diff between earlier work place and Ctr. Then why are they silent

Coming to some facts, our municipality had asked for funds for 4 main roads 3 yrs back viz 1. Pcr to sugar factory 2. Msr to nutrine. 3. Collectors bunglow to estate and 4. Greamspet to reddygunta. What happened to this proposal?thrown in dustbin because no politician insisted or followed

3 yrs back Hudco sanctioned several crores to AP govt for widening roads and improving drainage in municipal areas. The roads taken up for widening was 360 km.Now why didn't these funds reach Ctr. Or if it reached where were they spent. We asked for onlr 12 kms of road improvement. What happenned to that?????!!

What happens to common man if road is widened?? Initially they may lose part of land or their buiding. But once work is completed their land and commercial value increases several times to makeup for their loss. Their buisinesses wI'll flourish.ultimately everyone is benifitted.  But no one understands this in Ctr.

I hope atleast a corporation status will change this fate
