# After an year of announcements and hype everythings silent now?
# Is there a problem which has sufaced?or is it the lack of will?
# Does our beloved CM realize that if this is not done he and
congress will lose there credibility in hearts of chittoor citizens
forever.
Can any one from manachittoor give the exact happening or the status
presently.
why cant we try to make the MLA,MP & represent Minister as the member of the blog, like they visit and answer in the blog, some what it improves the responsibility of them towards development and they directly feel the anger of public

Even Collector buying water in Chittoor
ReplyDeleteChittoor: The Municipal Commissioner, the person responsible to provide drinking water to the residents, is himself purchasing drinking water.
From the District Collector, Superintendent of Police, District Judge to the common man, all have no other choice except to pay for drinking water in Chittoor town.
Chittoor Municipality literally failed in providing drinking water to even one quarter of the town except for transporting consumable water to certain wards only.
Cashing in on this situation, many private transporters started selling water in the town, thereby earning Rs 10,000 per day each. Over 150 private parties have made water transport their business.
Against the requirement of 20.03 MLD water per day in the town, the Municipality supplies just over 12.02 MLD water through the existing energised bore wells besides transporting water by 70 hired tankers.
On an average, the Municipality is spending Rs 30 lakh per month only for the transportation of water.

Water prob addressed appropriately (as per CTR’s condition) till now.have to see how they are going to deal along with the so called “KATTIRI”…

Some how he had got the chance to atleast sign on the GO pertaining to his DHQT..
Interestingly Ongole which came into picture lately but got released quickly (GO pertaining to its corpn’n),on contrast CTR,KMM’s status still unclear….KMM has enough pop size ,with agglomeration it may reach the mark of 3L….
As per my view,using 2011 census to go to elections would be appropriate….let it take the time for censuating,carrying out agglomerations ,ward/div delimitation etc…
Reg the funds , centre should take the last fiscal budget report as the basis to grant the for this particular year…we have all the incharges or well qualified to carry out the works they are intended for.
If elections are carried out in hurry with the 2001 census,cost of one year should not spoil the interests of men for the next 5yrs….
After all the urbanization has improved invariably from 22% (2001) to 30% (2011).so would be the all other considerable parameters..

ReplyDeleteHi anon @ 4:51. Nothing like Tamil or Telugu domination. Ctr has always seen dominance of Goons.that has led to present state of Ctr where a dominant town of 70s and 80 s is losing its identity gradually. Now if it's doesn't become corporation our development will stall .
Water supply. Increase in income and employment are need of the hour and they become real only with corporation.
