Latest updates & Developments in CHITTOOR

* Joy Alukkas is opening a mega Gold Showroom opp to old busstand. Construction work in full swing

* New foot wear showroom called First Step has opened a big A/C  showroom opp to bus stand. As you are aware already Profit has opened 3 floor mega ac footwear showroom last month.

* Diwakar Travels started a Hitech service to Vijayawada which starts at 9:00 PM.  Already another Volvo B9R bus service has been started from Pondicherry to Hyderabad via Chittoor.

*Axis bank opened another ATM in Ponniyamman Koil Street. With this total number of  Axis bank ATMs in city reaches four.

    Hi can you update me on real estate prices in Chittoor.
    We are interested in buying land around Iruvaaram, Reddygunta, Murukambattu.

    Can someone give details of land rate per acre/Plot/Sq Ft. Pls also provide details if any land available for sale with contact number.

    Venkatesh pls start a section on real estate.

    Hi Sridhar, Chittoor is really witnessing the boom after many years of dormancy.

    Hi Anon

    Actually the blog with title hichittoor.blogspot.com was started in a idea that it will reach all chittooreans either in chittoor or away from chittoor.

    Later i started using "manachittoor" to feel the togetherness of "US or OUR"s.

    Now since an year or so this blog has been using the name manachittoor and is known widely among all chittooreans in that name only. Infact i too felt in the same way that we should shift to manachittoor.blogspot.com

    But alas that manachittoor.blogspot.com is already registered by someone in that name.

    Let us wait and see.

    When already laid 4 lanes in India are upgraded to 6-8 lanes, why there is no 4 lane to chittoor?

    Sreekar chittoor has 8 theatres functioning as of today.

    Anon @ 1.41: Yes chittoor should have a university by now. When all other district HQRs from Srikakulam to Adilabad have a university. Only CTR doesnt.

    Kolar MP is a minister of state for railways.
    With his influence he has got 4 lane for his constituency till Mulbagal.
    Now its whose responsible to bring 4 lane for rest of NH4 ???
    Tamilnadu people were strong in central and they diverted 4 lane to their state and now Kolar MP is union minster he got 4 lane to his contituency.

    That is the question every chittorian have to ask themselves.
    When tamilnadu was pulling out 4 lane to their state, that time the honurable CM of AP representing Kuppam which falls under chittoor constituency.
    This is what will happen when you select a MP who is non chittorian and not interesed in development of chittoor
