Hi friends its official now. Government has released G.O. No 258 dated 07/07/2012 upgrading Chittoor as Municipal Corporation.
Officially the GO 258 states that following panchayats will be merged in to the new Corporation limits.
1.Mangasamudram (Obana palli),
2. Mangasamudram,
3. Murukambattu,
4. Muthirevulu,
5. Kalavagunta,
6. Doddipalli,
7. Pedda Kaluva,
8. Bandapalli,
9.Narigapalli,
10. Ramapuram,
11. Mapakshi,
12. Anupalli,
13. Timmasanipalli,
14. Varigapalli,
15. Kukkalapalli and
16. Thenebanda.
Long awaited dream of chittoor citizens has been partly fulfilled. Hope this might be a turning point for the chittoor development which has been neglected in past 3 decades.

ReplyDeleteThe yesvantpur intercity stoppage at ctr is not lifted. onlt the train number is changed from august 15.
Please check railways online website. The station is deleted from reservations.

2.n Kattamanchi beside the Devi theater.Construction work started.
3.In Lakshminagar colony construction work is done, rest of the work is going on
4.Luxury apartment by BMR infra , not sure about the location in the town.
5.Big size apartment by M.G Brother Venture in Santhapet.
6.Near camford school in gangapalli.

ReplyDeleteprovide stopping to the train Tirupati -Madurai at Chittoor as the Chittoor is district Hq. and also the stopping was provided to Meenakshi express (Meter guage. The chittoor people are eagerly waiting for this stopping
