  1. Visweswarayya Road (Bangalore bye pass road) is upgraded as state highway for the length of 10.3 kms on 18-8-11. This will help in release of R&B funds for maintainance

  4. Hi chittoor…

Then Father of the Nation (Gandhiji),Now Brother (Annaji) of the Nation..This is the beauty of the Indian Nation,as a family…,the world would lookout in the road of Non Violence

Many of us wouldn’t be knowing that PVKN had 2 research scholars(Ph.D pursuers) in the dept of chemistry in the year 2010-11,but for this year.11-12.,no intakes happened due to lack of infra/funds n faculty. Those who are stable / has influence should encourage such a kind of programmes if are incorporated.after a great struggle.Eventually for now only 2 students remained who could pursue Ph.D in PVKN.

    Good compilation abt hotels..there
Venk passed some hopeful tip off abt CTR Corp..first n Fore most the roads should be developed.,along with the local transportation(city./suburb buses) within 10-12 kms ,buses running vertically, horizontally, diagonally,L,inverted L,Left L,Left inverted L in all possible directions….

Nearly 1000cr rupees of Money is to be invested in broadening n developing various roads TN..Spl imp is given to provide road facility to hilly areas, which cause the localites to cirumferate to reach the nearest town /city..

  5. Hi Chittoor…

This recently recognized Statehighway Sodum-Kalkiri-Kalakada….in connection would CTR,should meet Irala,,,,,via Ayya Vari Palli,.Uppara Palli ,Nadigadda…

RF cuts off these places, remaining this highway interconnector between NH219(PNGR)-NH18(KALR).never ever touched by CTR,,,

    refer
    http://hichittoor.blogspot.com/2011/08/chittoor-nris-uniting-all-under-one_14.html#comments.

August 19, 2011 3:51 PM ,made by me,,,

Which makes these places, Chowdepalle,Somala,Sodum, never get in touch with ctr directly,,,in otherwards complete NW part greater 30km radius from CTR,,,

One thing to be noted down, Mr ,N,Ramakrishna Reddy try to get that Rayalpet – Madhavaram Road,(Via Penugonakala)into use, where theres a way already existing since olden days.Even his son tried to connect this, present MLA,as their native,Kelavaathi, is close to Rayal Pet,But both were unsuccessful, due to various political reasons..

Good thing abt ,N,Amarnath Reddy,is he could provide road to JAGAMARLA yet another foresty village,JAGAMARLA has connection with Thumba palem(Not thumminda palem)- Thumba Kuppam – Nallangadu -BGP/ARG
    which is still unconnected

  6. Similarly, theres a way existing between Sarakallu(Near Ardhagiri) – Setti Pet (boyakonda) via Bonamanda,Pedda Uppara Palli,Avula Palli Crs,Chowde palle,,,,These should be connected /converted to pakka tar roads,,,,which provide direct connectivity to Kanipakam-Ardhagiri-Boya Konda,..and MPL/ATP people would use that way around, instead making a go around,…

If Kotha palli (near kanipakam),cherlo palli –RF-,Nanjampet are connected ,we shall get to reach, places like Somala,Vayala Padu,Gali veedu,,,,which also provides a direct connectivity to people from these areas to get down to KPK

So this Irala – Sodum should be connected well for the benefit of CTR..

These one of the reasons why CTR – 1 is in loss consistently,as Its unable to run buses between to another town from ctr, only its plying to small villagy towns, like Aragonda/Irala..

Google map shows that Somala – Damalacheruvu road,as a pakka road, but its not in realistic terms,,,,,

Dt authorities, should prepare a detailed report to identify major district roads /even Mandal routes if necessary ,then direct palle velugu buses through them,,which would be actually filling lights in those lives of village dwellers….

If CTR MPL TPT CTR form a triangle on NH in the dt,all the mandals/towns should be able to connect to the NH,with ease.

If you look at the east we have this Palasamudram to Rama Krishnam Raju Pet(RK Pet)which lies on exact east, via Kada Nagaram,Valkanam Pudi, still unconnected,,,

  7. Yet again,People flockering on streets to support against the justice delivered by supreme court ,there you find another mockery of the public(people) at the democracy(by n for the people),,,Not only this happens with Criminals/culprits ,we would be bound to see this happening with many politicians who are undertrail,if jugdgement, goes against them. Some part of public (who are the beneficiaries of that politicians/hope ful in getting ) would persuade to reduce the sentence, there by reducing the efforts taken by a few in police,Judiciary, who worked with sincerity…

People there by discourage who feel to be sincere in those govt/public dept,,also there by bringing out the least out(not the best) out of themselves, for the sake doing their jobs..
Also sharpness/effectiveness of judiciary gets limited..

Hardly one can see very few famous persons being punished.here, against those in US.Which is yet another, broad difference between these two democratic nations..

  8. That’s again another U turn by CBI ,rubbishing all the media reports which yelled abt 2G since a few months….What made this investigative agency to deliver declaring all the accused are innocent. Pulling down(opp’n) into the well,by the rulers?

Decentralisation ,which is the need of the hourr,it was one of the major demands put forth by Anna.Decentralisation, didn’t happen effectively, though NTR could bring in this Mandal system, probably unique n good feature in AP,still to bring out the expected results…

Same applies to CTR Corp,If you examine

    Predominant of the population is distributed,in south to NW direction,Viz a Viz.,.Prashanth Nagar(PSTN),Durga Nagar(DGN),GPT,Central Town(CT),Santha Pet(SPT)…Then comes East(KRPEstate) n North,(KMC,MKBT)

Business still concentrated around the CT in Church St,BZR St,

Transportation:Municipal Bus Stand (MBS) remains the same, unable to grow in size, but still the imp bus station even 15yrs after construction RTC terminus….

So,Citizens made to look at the centre,no further expansion /growth is foreseen.,along with lack of proper funds/identification(support).Improper Mgt./ Non decentralization in time,

  9. General Hospital (GH) which should have the minimum facilities to serve the downtrodden /poor who step in with million hopes.Though NABH accredited this Hospital still it lacks the important lequipments, technicians, cleanliness, building facility. Its not apt looking to serve for some 3.5lakh population no ways…

Another approach road through its back end connected to SPT & IRV main roads, would reduce the heckle to reach it in the crowdy CSt.

Also instead of getting into the city for small medications, every zonal HQ should have a PHC with minimum facilities atleast to serve as a first aid for emergency.

Bus Stations remain heart of every town, for Ex,OBS at VLR,has shifted two kms in the northern direction,(towards CTR),since 5yrs its getting more busy, but same didn’t happen with CTR,even after 13yrs..

Time to look out the CITY Maket to bring out to the RTC complex, where the shops(which are constructed with large sum) remain vacant since yrs together..

You know where there might be less cost for lands(less developed areas) in close proximity of CT,,,one on Cherlopalli –KuppalaPalli road(via Thene Banda TBD), another on Thazhambedu Road(better known as Numero Gates,1st gate,2nd gate ,3rd gate,)till LB puram(Lakshamaamba Puram)the city spreads across,,

  10. Hi Chittoor,,

Municipal Elections are to be announced with in a cpl of weeks.8 of the total 10 municipal corp, are going to have their, divisions remarked..

Chennai Municipal Corp,is grown upto 470 Sq kms, with 200 wards (,population should be around 8 million atleast)

VLR is to meet this elections, for the first time as a corp,,in this october,Mayor is to elected on direct method..

First Phase of Underground drainage work,is close to completion out there, with road laying works seems pending,,at VLR

TN better respects CTR,then how AP recognizes it,,
All the roads from TN(within its territory) to CTR are identified as state highways,,,

    1)Chittoor – cuddalore road (via VLR),, SH9
    2) Chittoor – Tiruttani(via Ponnai),SH54
    3)Chittoor –Gudiyattam(via Paradarami) SH 88

Contrast AP govt is yet to identify any other route as a SH,Only CPH road is the sole consolation,.(in view of its recent development).

Its with NHAI to identify & expand the NH18,either it should be provided with flyovers (As NH46 has 3 FO @VLR) or byepass (DVV road ) to be recognized, & further developed.

While now the Min for mines was Min for R & B then, she declared this strip of NH18 from MKBT – PTLPt, is to be four laned, with the expansion of KMC bridge,,,

The onus is with NHAI,how state R&B would do this, anyways,no thinking or steps are moved in this direction,,,

state govt ,instead should look at imp roads, like developing this Penumur-Pachika pallam(via Veduru kuppam) as an alternate road to NH18A,,

  12. Hotel Sindhu Towers was very good. Recently 4 of my friends came to Chittoor on their way to Kanipakam. I put them up in Sindhu Towers as I am from Palamaner. It was conveniently located opp railway station. Though we stayed only from evening to morning it was quite enjoyable. The rooms were very well maintained. The food was excellent. Service was also good. To top it all the view from the rooftop restaurant was amazing during the twilight hours. All in all it was thouroughly worthy. Hope I find such hotels in other places as well......
