Yesterday South Central Railway GM Mr. Srivatsava has organised a meeting with MPs to find out the demands of their constituencies so that railway board can take action.
Our beloved MP who never has any time for Chittoor didn't attend this important meeting but sent a letter..
In this letter he demands RO Bridges at 3 places. These bridges Railway is delaying because it argues that once four laning I done bridges can simultaneously be built. ..
His main demand should have been doubling the line and new train to Chennai.

Please see the news below in TIMES OF INDIA indicating 12 district headquarters and 2 cities [Tirupathi & Rajamundry] totalling 14 Cities proposed from AP to the central govt. to develop as Smart Cities.. hopefully Chittoor will make in to the final list.

it is highly unlikely for Chittoor to be selected..Central govt is going to select 100 cities across the country and from our state at max there would be only 5
