Foundation Laid for 100 Crore BMR Transformers Project @ Chittoor

Foundation ceremony of BMR industries was held yesterday at Mordanapalli on Bangalore highway. Projected with a cost of 100 crore investment, this factory will manufacture High Frequency Transformers and will provide 2000 jobs in skilled and unskilled categories.

Manachittoor heart fully wishes BMR industries.

    Heartful welcome to all industrialists and enterpreuners to startup in and around chittoor. Factories and Employment opportunities will increase many fold once chittoor Bangalore 4 lane is completed.

    Hi.. Anybody knows the reason behind why theatres count also not increasing in chittoor. Strangely, it's decreasing from about 20 once upon a time to current hardly it is 5 or 6. I guess Chittoor is the only city going back day by day in theatres too.

    Reducing number of movie theatres has become common trend. But this effect is more in chittoor. From 16 theatres to 6 in a span of 5 years.
    This may be because of failing to catch up with new technologies and improving theatres/ stagnant economy of Chittoor/ Increased penetration of cable TV and piracy
