చిత్తూరు, జూలై 22: రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారాచంద్రబాబు నాయుడు సొంత జిల్లా చిత్తూరు నగరానికి మహర్దశ పట్టనుంది. నగరాన్ని అత్యంత సుందరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలన్న సంకల్పంతో వందరోజుల యాక్షన్ ఫ్లాన్ తయారు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి బాబు ఎమ్మెల్యే డి ఏ సత్యప్రభకు సూచించారు. దీంతో ఆమె ఎప్పటికప్పుడు వివిధ శాఖల అధికారులతో అభివృద్ధి పనులపై చర్చలు సాగిస్తున్నారు. నగరాన్ని సుందరీకరణ చేయడంతో పాటు నెలకొని ఉన్న సమస్యలను యుద్ధప్రాతిపతికన పరిష్కరించేందుకు అధికారులతో ఆమె సమీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ సిద్దార్థజైన్ ఆద్వర్యంలో ఆయాశాఖల అదికారులు ఇందుకు సంబందించి వందరోజుల యాక్షన్ ఫ్లాన్ సిద్దం చేస్తున్నారు. సెప్టెంబర్ 22వతేదిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు చిత్తూరులో పర్యటించనున్న నేపద్యంలో ఆయన ముందు ఈ ప్రణాళికలను ఉంచేందుకు ఎమ్మెల్యే సత్యప్రభ ఆద్వర్యంలో అధికారులు సమాయత్తం అవుతున్నారు. జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ సెలవుల్లో ఉన్న నేపధ్యంలో మంగళవారం ఎమ్మెల్యే డిఏ సత్యప్రభ నివాసంలో చిత్తూరు ఆర్‌డిఓ పెంచలకిశోర్‌తో సిఎం పర్యటన ఏర్పాట్లపై సమీక్షించారు. ప్రధానంగా నగరంలోని కట్టమంచి చెరువును ప్రక్షాళన చేయాలని ఎమ్మెల్యే, నగర మేయర్ అనూరాధ మున్సిపల్ అధికారులను ఇప్పటికే ఆదేశించారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా మంగళవారం చెరువులోని చెత్తా, చెదారాన్ని తొలగించేందుకు మేయర్ అధికారులతో ఆ ప్రాంతాన్ని పరిశీలించారు. పారిశుద్ధ్య సిబ్బందిని రంగంలోకి దించి చెరువు పరిశుభ్రతకు నడుంబిగించారు. ఈ చెరువుకు చుట్టు పార్కులను ఏర్పాటు చేసి సాయం, సంధ్యవేళల్లో ప్రజలు ఆహ్లాదకర వాతావరణంలో వాకింగ్ చేసేవిధంగా చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నారు. అలాగే గంగినేని చెరువులో బోట్ క్లబ్‌ను ఏర్పాటు చెయ్యాలని ఎప్పటి నుండో ఉన్న ప్రతిపాదనను కూడా తెరపైకి తీసుకువస్తున్నారు. అలాగే చిత్తూరులోని జిల్లా కోర్టు సముదాయాన్ని కూల్చివేసి ఆ స్థానంలో ఆధునిక మల్టీ స్టోరేడ్ భవనాలను నిర్మించేందుకు రంగం సిద్ధం అవుతోంది. నగరంలోని 15 కోర్టుల భవనాలను 31 కోట్ల రూపాయలతో నిర్మించేందుకు ఇప్పటికే హైకోర్టు ఆమోద ముద్ర వేసుకుని ప్రభుత్వ పరిపాలనా అనుమతి కోసం దస్త్రాలు పంపి ఉన్నారు. ఈ అంశంపై కూడా చిత్తూరు బార్ అసోసియేషన్ అధ్యక్షుడు సురేంద్రకుమార్ ఎమ్మెల్యే డిఏ సత్యప్రభతో చర్చించారు. నిధుల మంజూరుకు సంబంధించి ప్రభుత్వ అనుమతులు రాగానే చిత్తూరులోని పాత కలెక్టర్ కార్యాలయంలోకి 15 కోర్టులను తరలించి అక్కడ ఆధునిక మల్టీ స్టోర్డ్ భవనాలను నిర్మించనున్నారు. అలాగే నగర నడిబొడ్డున ఉన్న గాంధీవిగ్రహం, మహాత్మాజ్యోతిరావ్ పూలే విగ్రహాల ఉన్న ప్రాంతంలో వన్‌టౌన్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్‌ను, షాపింగ్ కాంఫ్లెక్స్‌ను తొలగించి అక్కడ సుందరమైన నగర బ్యూటిషికేషన్ ఫార్కును ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు అంచనాలు తయారు చేస్తున్నారు. వన్‌టౌన్ ఫోలీస్ స్టేషన్‌ను ఎస్‌పి కార్యాలయంలోకి తరలించి, ఎస్‌పి కార్యాలయాన్ని ప్రశాంతినగర్‌లో డిటిసి కార్యాలయం వెనుక నూతనంగా నిర్మించిన కొత్త భవనంలోకి మార్చాలని యోచిస్తున్నారు. అలాగే నగరంలో డ్రైనేజి వ్యవస్థను ఆధునీకరించి వర్షాకాలంలో సమస్యలు ఎదురుకాకుండా తగు చర్యలు తీసుకునేందుకు ప్రణాళికలను సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నారు. పాత బస్టాండ్ పక్కన శిథిలావవస్థకు చేరుకున్న షాపింగ్ కాంప్లెక్స్‌ను కూడా తొలగించి ఆధునిక మల్టీ స్టోర్డ్ షాపింగ్ కాంప్లెక్స్‌ను నిర్మించేందుకు అంచనాలను తయారు చేస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పటి వరకూ చిత్తూరుకు చెప్పుకోదగ్గ పార్కు అంటూ ఒక్కటి కూడా లేకపోవడంతో నగర ప్రజలను ఆహ్లాదపరిచేందుకు మున్సిపల్ పార్కు, అటవీశాఖ జింకలపార్కు, బివిరెడ్డి పార్కు తదితర పార్కులను ఆధునీకరించి అధివృద్ధి చేసి అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావాలని యోచిస్తున్నారు. జడ్పీ ఆధ్వర్యంలో జడ్పీ అతిథిగృహం ఆధునీకరణ, పలు అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలను చేపట్టనున్నారు. అలాగే నగరంలో ప్రదాన సమస్యలైన ట్రాఫిక్,తాగునీటి సమస్య పరిష్కారానికి కూడా పెద్ద ఎత్తున చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నారు. రోడ్డు ఆక్రమణలను తొలగించి అన్ని మార్గాలను డబుల్‌లైన్ రోడ్లుగా రూపుదిద్దేందుకు ప్రణాళికలను సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నారు. కొత్త ఎస్‌పి శ్రీనివాసులు బాధ్యతలు స్వీకరించిన తరువాత ట్రాఫిక్, శాంతి భద్రతల సమస్యలపై ఎమ్మెల్యే డిఏ సత్యప్రభ సమీక్షించనున్నారు. ఇక సమస్యల సుడిగుండంలో అధ్వాన స్థితికి చేరుకుంటున్న చిత్తూరు ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రిని అన్ని విధాలుగా అభివృద్ధి చెయ్యాలని ప్రతిపాదనలు సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నారు. ఏది ఏమైనా ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు ఆదేశాలతో అదికార యంత్రాంగం చకచకా ప్రణాళికలను సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నారు. ఏది ఏమైనా తెలుగుదేశం ప్రభుత్వం హయాంలో చిత్తూరుకు మహర్దశపట్టనున్నది.

We need few roads with dividers in the middle as part of the beatification
Lane disciple with be there if dividers are implemented
Also and foremost few turnings be straightened
The master plan also be implemented

A congested city should be past we should make them spread

What's will one or two Parks do. Widening the 4 important roads will automatically beautify the city. Moreover why Was eenadu so negligent to carry such imp news as box item that too in constituency page. Isnt the development of chittoor an important issue. Media should play a major role here

If I remember correctly, the proposal to set up this facility in Piler constituency was initiated by KiranKumarReddy and Govt. procured required land as well.
DeleteBut the recent news doesn't mention where AP Govt has decided to set up this facility. It would be revenge politics if CBN finalized it elsewhere.

Even after two years no movement in CHUDA,For no good reason still JNNURM buses allotted for chittoor city are to be diverted to other larger cities for political reasons,main person responsible transport minister
if a Mini Bus terminus per area,,,like for Santhapet, Konga reddy palli,Kattamanchi,greamspet,Jankara palli etc....
MLA should bring out Main Vegetable (city Market) at present court complex, connected with 5 mini veg markets per each principal road would bring predominant changes in the city dev,,,

why if an airport bw chittoor n vellore especially bw bommasamudram - pallur - serkadu - katpadi shouldnt be set up at,,,,?equi distant for both cities,,,
after all nellore n ongole are apart by 130 kms or so,compartive to our 36.5kms...
Also NCB looking for an airport at kuppam,like mrs sharmila,opponent leaders said he couldnt turn out kuppam to a municipality,(a complete urb body) yet speaks abt singapore n airport,,,,
remember, as per 2001 census chittoor was more populated than kadapa,still when mr,ysr took in charge he first made kadapa a corpn,followed by nellore only by next month which was way large then as well....(his home DHQ)
Then he upgraded his own pulivendula (which is just bigger than kuppam) in 2005 itself,along with a ring road,,,,

ReplyDeleteIf you have gone through even the Sivaraman committee didnt buy the single largest city model as there is wide gap bw regions,
Atleast he should plan to form AP into 3 zones n 6 regions (2 regions per each zone),,,
1.Eastern ryls grouping chittoor n kadapa dts
2,western ryls for krnl n anantapur,,, Under Balaji zone
3.ganjams ( Srikakulam n vizianagaram)
4.north coast ( visakha n east godavari)
5.Central coast ( West,krishna,guntur)
6.south coast ( prakasam n nellore)....allotting12 institutes (2 per each region ) would be rational,,,,,
Mind though chittoor dt is ranked among the top 10 dts in india for having high number Edn institutes ,still the western part of chittoor is quite different are under dev to those eastern counter parts,,,,
so setting up of institutes in such under dev areas should be lookedup for
yes, there is big difference between Eastern part and Western part of Chittoor district. Chandragiri-Tirupati-Renigunta-Yerpedu-SriKalahasti-Sricity-Gudur belt is way more prosperous, green and developed. Eastern area has good rainfall and much better irrigation facilities. Due to good infrastructure and connectivity it is developing exponentially.

Though the announcement of 100 smart cities by union govt excites many of us, atleast 3 cities would have place in it ,still in reality only 1) visakha 2) rajahmundry /kakinada 3) vijayawada - guntur 4) nellore 5) tirupati 6)kurnool would find place there,,,,

We should work towards Chittoor Metropolitan City (1million plus inhabitants) at the earliest,as which would bring identity at state n national levels,,,
As of now (read as city n current pop estimate)
1.visakha - 2.2 Million
2.Vijayawada - 1.2M ( if its area is made upto 500 Sq,Km like visakha then it may cross 2million mark as well)
3.Guntur - 0.8Million ( if its area increased atleast 100 Sq,kms) it may cross1 Million mark easily
4.Nellore - 0.65Million( if its area increased like that of rajahmundry ) it may cross 1 million by 2021,,,
However govt instead of announcing as mega cities,
should increase area under M' Corporations upto 500 or more Sq,Kms,(for vijayawada - guntur stretch,& tirupati.
for II Tier 250 Sq,kms,around,,,(for kurnool ,kakinada etc)
