This is not from TDP, YSRCP, BJP and not even Pawan Kalyan Jana Senate, but from a fellow chittorean who is worried about chittoor.
Leaving all the facts about the undemocratic division of state for purely election benefits, the anger is clearly palpable all over seemandhra.
Congress is going to be washed away in this anti wave as per many election surveys. Now if Congress is elected in chittoor that will be sealing of fate and end of development for chittoor.
So think before you vote
Dear Friends, Absolutely correct. Allmost nil development in chittoor for the past 2 decades. Upto 1990's, Chittoor is almost equal to Vellore, Kadapa & Tirupathi. But now? In last 10 years, CTR population grown by 1,000 where as TPT & VLR upto 2 laks and even MPL to 1 lakh. No investor is coming to Chittoor due to the fact that he need to give a lion share to politican. Even we do not have Municipal corporation CHITTOOR office. It is the property of a politician(ckb mun corp) as you can see in the name. This is the fate of Chittoor for the past 20 years.

Glad you brought his name explicitly. Everytime someone curse CKBabu, I would like to ask what made him win so far. It is more harm to the nation/state/region if it doesn't has effective opposition than the inefficient/wicked person in the power. Personally I feel, this is the case with our Chittoor. It is important to think why TDP bungled terribly in Chittoor despite Chittoor being district HQs of party chiefs own district. Why ChandraBabu Naidu failed to bring any change/development despite being chief of state for 9 years. Why he hasnt visited Chittoor even once (correct me if I'm wrong) in the last 10 years as opposition leader and tried to raise concerns of Chittoor, whereas Jagan visited twice and Sharmila once.
DeleteBeing said that, I do agree by any standard CKBabu has crossed his limits and his political clout should be decimated. But unfortunately, the available options for us - JSrinivas and ASManohar also doesn't look quite optimistic.

What's the guarantee that even if they contest as independent and win , later will not jump into Congress ( this has happened before) Another thing even if an independent mayor is established in chittoor, will the elected govt release any funds
Go with the trend prevailing in the state dear friends. If chittoor mla becomes a minister and mayor is also from party which comes the power, our hopes of faster development of chittoor will see some light.

Even I have the same opinion, that party which wins in Residual AP should win in Chittoor and also should be part of central Govt, for development to happen. But this is the million dollars question now - which party is going to win in residual AP? Going by the reports and changes in recent political scenario, apparently it is going to be neck to neck fight between YSRCP and TDP in residual AP and also since several parties are fighting for their pie, there is a possibility that no party would win required number of seats to form govt.
DeleteAgain, my major issue with TDP/CBN, is his development policy, which is not inclusive and it seems he is going to repeat the same mistake by centralizing development in and around of new Capital and also by ignoring irrigation projects for drought areas, which are half way thru.
we must create awareness to people to vote right candidate. i hope from this 2014 after elections it will develop faster, i got information, there are many companies likes to invest in chittoor because of connectivity to major cities and very low land rates.

Delete1. Road Widening: Started and stopped more than 6 times. Why? shop owners along the main road gave bribary to chittoor tiger. Tiger provided orders to stop.

3. CMC just constructed few sheds in CTR. But after CTR, it got some land in Tiruvannamali and completed a big hospital. Why? Tiger demanded a lot.
4. Most biz people, not willing to construct multy storey bldgs. Why? Tiger need a tiger share to give Municipal approval.
5. No factory dare to establish unit in and around CTR. Why? Tiger need percentage.
6. There is no Chittor municipal corp office. Why? Tiger is there.
Dear chittooreans, think and vote.
Elect only TDP or YCP as per the current trend in Seemandhra as Mayor and MLA.
For Chittoor development, we need (my dream):
1. Declare Tirupathi as seperate district. (so that all the district sanction institutions/colleges will be established in chittoor)
2. Establish Govt Medical and polytechnic in head quarters
3. Lay at least 4 lane road from Murakambattu to Gangasagaram, Thana to Variga palle.
4. New train track from Nangili to Tiruttani via chittoor (so that few tranins can pass from chennai to bangalore via tiruttani, ctr)
5. Tirupathi is overcrowded with trains. Extend many trains upto Chittoor (say. krishna exp, tirumala exp, karimnagar exp, kakinada passenger etc)
6. New ctr railway terminal construction and double track between katpadi to tpt.
7. Develop MSR junction and name it as 7 road junc (Vellore rd, darga road, mgr road, ponniamma road, high road, vinayakar road, small road besige msr)
8. construct at least 4 lane new bridge over neeva in kattamanchi
9. Expand & Extend Gandhi Road (by paying compensation to affected) fully, construct a new bridge over the river and connect that road to byepass road near bans hotel. This can be used as mainroad to kanipakkam.
10. construct additional flyover on railway track near pcr.

National highways are not under the purview of local MLA, here only MP/StateGovt can influence the central ministry decisions. Now the question is how effective is our MP in raising the issue. I haven't seen our MP being effective in any way dealing with Chittoor issues.

Are you sure that it is because of CKBabu they changed their plans? as far as i heard, TN govt sanctioned land in their state and influenced them to not to leave TN.
but tiger can influence cm and pressure central govt..

ReplyDeleteDaily in Venkatadri train so many employees are coming to chittoor from tirupathi and they returning to tirupathi at evening in the same train 5.30 Railway board should change the venkatadri timings to 6.30 then only these employes will work upto 6.0 clock in the office after evening 5.00 clock we cannot see the employees in the office who are returning to tirupathi by venkatadri express

Tension prevailed in Chittoor town when supporters of former MLA C.K. Jayachandra Reddy alias CK Babu and TDP cadre clashed with each other during the campaign for the Corporation polls on Tuesday evening.
The TDP activists were distributing pamphlets in the 35th division near Kainikattu street when the supporters of CK Babu allegedly snatched the campaign material and asked them to leave the area.
Followers of TDP district vice-president Katari Mohan also rushed to the spot, after which a clash ensued, leading to the prevalence of a tense situation.
Police rushed to spot and tried to pacify the two groups, but in vain. This led to a mild lathicharge, which succeeded in quelling the mobs from both sides.
still how many years we need to afraid for this rowdy sheeter MLA and his rowdy activities in Chittoor. do we still need these type of people to be our leader? dear chittoreans, pls think twice before you vote. CK Hatao, CTR bacho.
