panchayats strongly opposed merger and sent it to MAUD authorities.
But now as all these are in incharge rule, file has reached Panchayat
raj department, and a consensus needs to be sent in a weeks time.

Guntur dt ,with 12 municipalities ,including a corp,We are with 8,,,Definitely CTR one of the best populated dt in RYLS ,deserves to have more...along with Piler,Beerangi Kotha Kota (B kotha Kota),Kuppam,Pakala,V.kota..all deserve for the upgradation,
With the population limit being reduced to 20k for the upgradation of a Major Panchayat into Municipality (III grade)
But none of them are upgraded ,especially from the cm’s dt,so far
Also ,along with number of towns are increased,more funds n measures are to be taken to meet ,develop n maintain infra n basic needs of these infant towns,,,

ReplyDeleteChittoor: Despite several innovative steps initiated by traffic police, the intensity of traffic menace seems to be increasing instead of coming down in Chittoor town.
Traffic jams are a regular phenomenon in the town particularly in front of Chittoor One Town Police Station and Chittoor District Police Office. The situation became worse after introducing the one-way system at NTR Circle.
Former DSP Shilpavalli had taken steps to find an amicable solution for the traffic problem, involving all. Her successor, Rajeswara Reddy is in a helpless condition, finding no solution for the traffic congestion at Gandhi Statue, MSR Circle, PCR High School Junction and other crucial points.
Chittoor Superintendent of Police, Kranthi Rana Tata issued clear cut instructions to the concerned authorities to chalk out the earliest possible solution for redressing the traffic evils in the town. He has also suggested the municipal authorities to widen the streets of the town for free passage of vehicles.
But there is no positive response from both sides as there is heavy inflow of vehicles from Bangalore, Vellore, Chennai, Madanapalle, Tirupati passing through Chittoor municipal bus station, it becomes an ordeal of the town to witness traffic jam for several times in one day.
Meanwhile, the efforts for repairing the defunct traffic signals in the town remained in vain due to lack of cooperation between Chittoor Municipal Administration and Chittoor Traffic Police higher ups.
As a result constant traffic jams at main streets in the town, District Collector, Joint Collector, and other district officers have changed their early route to reach their offices diverting through the bypass road. It is obvious to add that many of the traffic constables in the town seem to be fed up of controlling the traffic.
Traffic awareness among the public is said to be low in the town while the pedestrians find it very difficult to get through the traffic jam in Church Street, Vegetable Market, Hospital Road, Santhapet and Market Chowk. Unless the police change it’s usual track of controlling the traffic measures, it would be said an unabated menace for the town it is felt.

On the day b4,RB was introduced,Sakshi reported,saying Mr.Tippesamy MLC.was told by Munikrishnappa,has allocated some amt of the total 931cr,estimate for this CTR – Nengali..line
But nothing came true,even dt waasi,whos chairing the ministering,but couldn’t get this done,,should be pitied,,,,
Remember YSRs projection n propelling in KDP – BLR.prior to which in the earlier budgets,it wasn’t at all thought/spoken abt.,..
CM could have given a good try to make CTR as Imp junction on this BLR –CNI ,if the same project was cleared.,Also theres a clear Indication stress up on KPD should be reduced,which could have done this way…
We need well laid roads,rail connectivity,facilities to guarantee good health for all at minimal level….from Govt.is to provide all these all alone…
Black Money can be drawn easily n through encouraging PPPs in this infra n health sectors ,by giving good subsidies etc..all will surely happen,again some thing kind of TOLL may collect, once after they do it.

ReplyDeleteChittoor to Kanipakam road. We can say that it is not road. It is a street. I don't know y the proples are sleeping here. Of course our MLA is ....... We have to bear him some more days. After some days we will get good days to Chittoor. Other donkey like MLC Gopinath staying in the street. He is also not thinking about road. When we will get proper road that means not a 4 lane. it will be better if it has atleast 2 lane.

If development kicks in these groups of unemployed will be busy in their own work, and we get rid of these individuals.
Water scarcity :- It can be addressed its seems as a big problem it can be solved by smart water initiatives ...
