RVS Medical College awaiting MCI approval

SV group of institutions situated in RVS Nagar received AP govt approval and NTR health university affiliation to start medical college. They are recruiting doctors to get MCI approval.

One contesting factor is Apollo is also gearing up to start medical college in murukambattu which is hardly 4 kms from RVS. For this purpose they have already got an MOU with state govt to lease District Hospital for 3 years. But will MCI permit 2 medical colleges in 4 kms radius?

If done our Chittoor hopefully gets two medical colleges by April 2016.

India's First Indianoil Smart Terminal in #Chittoor

Indian Oil Corp (IOC) has inaugurated oil industry's first smart terminal at Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh on Friday. "Chittoor smart terminal embodies the transformative power of information technology and its versatile amalgamating power for our logistics and storage functions. Smart terminals aid in providing homogenous delivery of products, with complete automated processes," said B Ashok, chairman, IOC.

The terminal project started in 2010 with an estimated cost of 126.60 crore. The facility covers a total area of 44.65 acre. It has a total of 24 Bays in 3 TLF Gantries equipped with 33 bottom loading points for furl loading and an additional 3 top loading points for SKO.
